  Enjoy a relaxing drive in Port Townsend and dive back in history

    

        
  

  We will begin our journey by meeting up at historic Fort Worden in Port Townsend.  For our history buffs, Port Townsend was named by George Vancouver in 1792, and was the first township on the Olympic Peninsula and remains today as the only incorporated city in Jefferson County.   For those interested in period architecture, many of the original Victorian era buildings still remain and will be visible during our drive.  If there is interest, we can also stop for a walk in downtown Port Townsend.

  For our movie buffs, Fort Worden was the location for the filming of the 1980's blockbuster and award winning "An Officer and a Gentleman".  There will be plenty of time for photo ops and possibly a tour of the museum and the Battery's at the Fort if the weather is good and if there is interest.  

  From here, how about a tasting at Port Townsend Vineyard's, a short drive away, and finally concluding our visit with a meal at Doc's Marina Grill with a view of Naval Magazine Indian Island. 

  If there is a desire to explore the battery's on foot, and the surrounding park , a Discover Pass will be required ($10 per vehicle).

  As there is no charge for this event, all costs for food, beverages, etc are the responsibility of the participants.

  This event is open to Plaid and Performance members first. It will be open to Chill members 2 weeks prior to the event for a nominal fee.

  Do you like to play poker? Do you like to drive? How about doing them together. For our first poker run for the club, join us as we rally to area superchargers to draw our hand and see how has the best hand. Details are still being worked out. So keep checking back as planning continues.

  Electrify Expo Booth Volunteer Opportunity

  If we will have a booth at the Electrify Expo this year, I will enable volunteer registrations.

  Would you like to participate in spreading the word about our club, share your experience driving an EV, or help increase our membership? Volunteering at our booth at the Electrify Expo could be the opportunity you're looking for. Several sessions are available for Saturday and Sunday, plus setup on Friday.

  Here are the sessions I'm hoping to fill. I'm still waiting to hear how many exhibitor passes I get with our booth. So you might be able to get in free for your volunteer time.

  Volunteers will receive an Exhibitor wristband that will get you free admission both Saturday and Sunday for one person. You will need to pick it up from Theresa at her house Friday night.
  

  Saturday - 9/13 - 12pm to 4pm for initial setup

  Saturday - 9/14 - 9am to 12pm - full

  Saturday - 9/14 - 12pm to 3pm - full

  Saturday - 9/14 - 3pm to 6pm - full

  Come Enjoy the fall colors as you drive the olympics

    
  

  Enjoy a breathtaking drive with a view of the changing of the fall colors on the North Olympic Peninsula.

  We will begin with a meetup up at the Superchargers at the Holiday Inn Express in Sequim (located at 1441 E Washington Street).  There is a Black Bears Diner next door if you are hungry before the journey.  

  From here we’ll determine which route is the best one to take.  If the weather is clear, we’ll likely start our drive up to Hurricane Ridge Trail Head, (the location of the Hurricane Ridge Day Lodge that burned down several years ago).

  If it's cloudy, we’ll probably opt to go directly to Crescent Lake.  Either way, you’re in for some beautiful sights.  Make sure to bring your camera.   With either route, we’ll be stopping by Granny’s Cafe, an iconic local eatery near Crescent Lake with amazing pies and desserts.  

  If there is interest, we can stop by Harbinger Winery on the return trip 

  There is no registration cost to the to participate in this event.

  For those concerned, there is a Supercharger in Sequim.

  We will once again have a coordinated Light Show. The Light Show file will be emailed to you. So, please remember to bring a USB stick with you with the LightShow files on it.

  
  

  If you are participating in the Light Show, please back in perpendicular on the shoulder in front of my house. If you are not participating park in the driveway or on the opposite side of the street.

  Please join us for our annual holiday event with a white elephant gift exchange! We plan to cook a turkey and cranberry bacon stuffing both using Kimbal Musk's recently shared recipes! Please consider bringing a side to share. 

  The gift exchange is optional but we would like to keep it Tesla themed and recommend a $20-30 price range for gifts but with no limit if someone wants to be generous. White elephant rules are available at: https://www.whiteelephantrules.com/

  Teslas in the Tulips Rally VI

  Come tiptoe to the tulips, and daffodils with fellow club members. Maybe we'll see the snow geese flocks in the fields as well.  We'll keep our fingers crossed for nice weather so we can take some great photos with our cars and the tulip fields. For club members only.

  More details still to come when we get closer to the event. The route will be determined the weekend before once I drive it.
