If you would like to request your one time 20% discount code to use in the Lifestyle and Apparel sections of the Tesla store, log into your membership account and go the store page then follow the instructions. This will be the last year that this is offered to official club members. So grab it while you can. This forms go directly back to Tesla and you must fill out all four pieces of information needed to get your code. Your code should appear in your Tesla Account, not on your club account anymore. We don't know when then codes will be issued but they will expire at the end of this year and be gone for good.

If you experience an issue at a supercharger, please fill out the attached form attaching up to five (5) photos if you happen to take any. Issues can be anything from a supercharging slow, not charging at all, damaged, or if it's lacking in cleanliness or if you feel there's a safety issue. Click on the link to the form, Supercharger Issues Form.

With the warmer weather (and the lessened restrictions of Phase III) we're getting busier.  We've had some great events lately and have many many more coming up including a whiskey tasting, a virtual meeting with Tesla's supercharger folks, more charger chats, parades, car care clinics, and much more.  We try to post everything to social media, but you can always find it all here on our web site.

Stay healthy & safe - we hope to see you at an event soon!

Now that we have entered Phase 3 of the reopening, we are able to have in person events once again, with some safety requirements though. For outdoor events, we can have groups of 15 members from two households, but up to 200 members with groups staying at six feet apart. Face masks that fully cover your nose and mouth are still required as well. Yay, for in person events! Hope to see at our next one.

We've entered the 20th century and created a Tesla Owners Washington YouTube channel. For those that were unable to attend our first Annual Meeting virtually, we have added a YouTube channel for the club. You can find the quick link at the bottom of each webpage. We will upload more videos as they become available.

    Thanks,

    Theresa

I just wanted to pass on a big Thank You!! to all of those who attended our virtual Annual Meeting!  The feedback we've received has been very positive and we hope to get the chart deck and recording of the meeting posted soon for our members who were unable to attend or for any member who would like to review any of it.

Some of you may have noticed our logo change.  This is coming directly from Tesla.  The relationship between the official owners clubs around the world, such as ours, and Tesla is growing.  This is the first of what we expect to be many changes coming and are SOOO excited!!  Stay tuned - we'll provide updates as soon as we are authorized to share them.

    Stay healthy and safe!

As a result of the surging COVID-19 cases and the Governor's guidance, we are (once again) scaling back our in-person events.  :(

We really need to get this pandemic under control so please wear your masks in public, wash your hands well and often, and stay healthy and safe.

As you may have noticed, our club's name has changed yet again. Tesla Owners Puget Sound (TOWA-PS) will now be a chapter along with Tesla Owners Spokane/Coeur d'Alene (TOWA-SC), under the main club Tesla Owners Washington (TOWA). As a member, you do not need to do anything. Your membership will automatically switch over. We have also deleted the free membership for our TOWA-SC chapter since we are all under the same main club.  Since we re-established our club back in January 2020, we didn't expect the growth we've had during a pandemic where we couldn't have in-person meetups for more than half the year. Our membership numbers doubled during our states Shelter-In-Place order. Tesla Owners Washington has been our main goal since we established Tesla Owners Puget Sound but we didn't expect for it to happen so soon. We wanted to make sure we understood how we were going to handle setting up chapters before we started the main club. Soon, we will have a third chapter starting, so this became the right time to initiate the grander plan. As the president of the club, I promise, this will be the last and final name change. PROMISE!!!

    Your president,

    Theresa Ramsdell

Just when we have our first in-person event in months and we think we might be able to start meeting in person regularly again, the curve goes up and the rules change.  :(

We've postponed all in-person events for the time being.  We'll continue to host on-line events and keep planning to have in-person ones in the future.  If you have ideas for virtual events, please drop us an email and let us know your ideas.

    Stay safe & stay healthy!!
